3.1. [WHERE AND HOW] During the season, while the Yahoo! league is active, trading will be done through the Yahoo! system. During the off-season, one of the participating owners must announce the trade in a new thread in the "Trade" forum of the league's ProBoard web site. A Trade agreement can include any combination of the following: MLB Players, Minor league Prospects, and Draft picks. NOTE: you can only trade actual draft picks and not SKIPPED draft picks(SEE SECTION 2.3b)
3.2. [APPROVAL & VETOES] Trades are subject to commissioner approval and owner veto.
---- 3.2a. During the off-season, a proposed trade must first be approved by the commissioner.
---- 3.2b. Four owners are needed to veto a trade.
---- 3.2c. During the off-season, the owners have 48 hours to veto a trade, from the time the commissioner approves the trade. Also, during the off-season, an owner's vote to veto must be made publicly on the ProBoards thread that proposes the trade.
----3.2d. Any trade agreed upon is done and final. The only way to get out of a deal is if both owners agree that the deal was a mistake within the two day trade review time line (i.e. if someone accidentally pressed "Accept" and both owners agree to void the trade, or if both owners are persuaded by any means to agree that the trade was not in their best interest, etc.)
----3.2e. The commissioner may veto a deal at any time if it is proven that the trade was made through collusion and/or indifference. Said owners will then be locked until an investigation is completed. Commissioner also may veto any deal that he deems to be extremely one-sided. In any such event he will first ask the opinions of other owners in the league. Those opinion are only to give the commissioner more insight into how the league feels about the trade, they will not determine whether or not the trade will be vetoed.
3.3. [MINOR LEAGUERS] Owners can trade both minor leaguers and future minor-league draft picks(future drafts picks must be for the season immediately following)Example: You cannot agree to a trade in 2010 that involves draft picks for 2012.
3.4 [COURTESY] If someone offers you a trade, even if you're not interested respond with a simple, "No Thanks".
