1. [ABOUT THE LEAGUE] This is a free, year-round fantasy baseball league. We compete in a 15 team, 5X5 Roto league played on the Yahoo Fantasy Sports site. Each team also has a 10 player minor league roster. During the off-season transactions are made here on the Proboards site.
We have a yearly Draft to fill minor league rosters.
Players will remain on your team until you trade them away or release them . You will also have the option to call up minor leaguers from your farm system or release them if they are not performing up to your standards.
Making smart trades, picking up Free Agents ,drafting promising players and calling them up to your roster is the key to building a Dynasty.
1.2. [THE LEAGUE PROBOARD] During the season & off-season, league activity will be conducted here on the ProBoards website. Owners are encouraged to check the ProBoard site regularly during the season & off-season. The Proboards Calendar contains important dates and league deadlines. The Commissioner will send out reminders to alert you to these deadlines.
1.3 [YAHOO! PLAY] League play will be conducted as a Yahoo! private Custom League, as 5x5 rotisserie style (categories: R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, W, SV, SO, WHIP, ERA), with 28 roster spots allocated per Yahoo! team. The commissioner will be responsible for creating the Yahoo! Custom League and notifying the league owners to sign up for the Yahoo! League.
