4.1 All minor leaguers added to the Yahoo system will stay as FAs until you are ready to add them to your 28 man major league roster.
4.2 When you are ready to add your minor leaguer(s) to your 28 man roster, you may pick them up by dropping someone currently on your 28 man major league roster. Your minor leaguer will officially become part of your 28 man roster and CANNOT be sent back down to the minors. MINOR LEAGUERS ADDED TO YOUR MAJOR LEAGUE ROSTER CANNOT BE REPLACED ON YOUR MINOR LEAGUE ROSTER. That Minor league spot will remain vacant and can only be filled by trading for a prospect, or by drafting a prospect in the next years draft.
----4.2a A Minor League Prospect can stay on your Minor League roster up until the season that he exceeds 130 AB or 50 IP. Once he exceeds 130/50, he can remain on your Minor league roster during the calender year that he exceeds that limit only. Simply put, if your prospect exceeds 130/50 in 2009 he can stay on your minor league roster until the end of the 2009 season, but must be put on your MLB roster in 2010 or released as a FA.
4.3 I will try to double check that the minor leaguers names are spelled right on the minor league rosters, that will be posted season long in the Commissioner’s Note section of the league. Be sure to check this list whenever someone hits waivers to make sure you are not wasting a waiver on a player that is already someone else’s property.
4.4 In the event you do pick up someone that does not belong to you, you will be asked to drop him immediately, and you will not be given your waiver back, if you used one. Also the player your dropped will not be returned to you unless he has not been picked up yet. Consider yourself warned.
4.4 Trading Minor Leaguers:
- Minor leaguers can be included in any trade along with or for major and other minor leaguers. You can only trade for a minor leaguer if you have room on you Minor League Roster , so if you currently have 10 minor leaguers you cannot trade for another one until you clear up space.
